About Me
I like to say I am from a little bit of everywhere having lived in childhood in New York, California, and Montana. I moved to Oregon in 1998 and earned my bachelor of the arts from Willamette University (Go Bearcats!) in 2002 and then my master's in education in 2008 from Oregon State University (Go Beavers!). My primary areas of study and academic interests include developmental psychology, adult education, human transitions, identity development, and music.
My partner of over 20 years and I have built our home and family in Tualatin, a suburb of Portland, Oregon where we pride ourselves on a balance of exploring the abundance of both the natural world and the box-stores around us. I have two children, ages 8 and 5. My partner and I worked tremendously hard to bring to these precious beings into world and we adore them. They keep my day full with the fun, deeply meaningful parts of life like park play dates and choosing which yogurt we will smear around the kitchen for the day. :)
Other interests
You can usually see me on a hands-free phone call with a client while I am driving my mini-van to or from an exercise class (my favorites being Orange Theory and yoga), reading books or singing songs with my kids, or making healthy, delicious food for my family and friends to enjoy. I am passionate about and eager to help you take your first and next steps to becoming your best self. So, let's do this!
